Environment:
Compact NSJ and Powerpact D frame circuit breakers
Resolution:
The suggested replacement is the PowerPacT L frame.
Note: if replacing a plug-in or drawout version (N or D in the termination digit), the PowerPacT L still uses the same plug-in base and drawout cradle, so the L frame will fit right in. If an existing plug-in base or cradle is being used, use suffix HJ00 to get an L frame breaker only. Without the suffix, the breaker and base/cradle come as standard.
When crossing D frame circuit breakers, please note that all 400 A and below D frame breakers are 100% rated. The 600 A D frame breakers are standard (80%) rated only.
