How to troubleshoot an ATV312 with no 24VDC control voltage?

ATV312 drive is missing or has no +24vdc power supply.

Powered the drive up and is missing  or has no +24vdc power supply.

  • Make sure you are checking between control terminals +24vdc and com.
  • Make sure you meter is set to DC voltage not AC voltage when checking the power supplies.
  • Using your digital Fluke meter check the main input voltage on L1 L2 L3 to see if the drive is powered up.
  • Is the Main display on?
  • Are you getting the +10vdc supply?
  • Try removing any control wires so that  you only have you man power applied to power up the drive then check your +24dc supply again to see if you have your voltage.
  • If the drives +24vdc supply is missing then you will need to repair or replace this drive.  Keep in mind the ATV312 drives are under 20HP and parts may not be available so in most cases the drive will have to be replaced.
