the FTP and TFTP services are disabled by default (cyber security default setting).
In your application, enable FTP or TFTP, providing the security policy allows it.
When you have Ethernet device that use FDR, but you want to disable FTP, we recommend the following:
- enable the FTP protocol in the application
- in the user program, invoke the EthPort_Control_MX function so it disables FTP after the devices have taken their configuration.
To enable temporarily the FTP during the replacement of a damaged device, we suggest to invoke EthPort_Control_MX function (triggered on a key-controlled input for example)
