How Can You Monitor the Remote HMI Stop Button Status on an ATV61/ATV71 Drive?
Resolution:
To monitor the status of the remote HMI Stop button on an ATV61 or ATV71 drive, read Statusword address 8603 (logic address 3201) and check bit 14.
- Bit 14 = 0 → Stop button not pressed
- Bit 14 = 1 → Stop button pressed on the remote HMI (graphic display terminal)
This information is available in the drive Statusword parameter and can be used to detect when the remote HMI Stop button is activated.
