How Do I Change the Motor Control Type on an ATV61 or ATV71 Drive?
Resolution:
To change the Motor Control Type on an ATV61 or ATV71 drive:
- Ensure the drive is powered on and in the RDY (Ready) state with no run command active.
- Press ESC until you return to the Main Menu with Drive Menu highlighted.
- Press ENTER to access the Drive Menu.
- Navigate to Menu 1.4 - Motor Control and press ENTER.
- Scroll to Motor Control Type and press ENTER.
- Select the desired motor control mode from the available options.
- Confirm your selection and exit the menu.
Note:
The ATV71 offers additional motor control modes compared to the ATV61, including closed-loop control options when an encoder is used. The available selections may vary depending on the drive model and configuration.
