Why can't Vijeo Designer import my modified Recipe CSV file?

Issue:
Vijeo Designer is unable to recognize my updated Recipe CSV file. An error will occur at a particular line in the file.

Product Line:
Vijeo Designer (all versions)

Resolution:
In recent versions of Microsoft Excel, additional commas are added to the CSV file where there are blank cells. These additional commas cause Vijeo Designer to not recognize the file.

To workaround this, when exporting the recipe CSV file, choose the unicode option for the CSV file.
