Can an ATV61 or ATV71 Drive Operate Without the HMI Installed?
Resolution:
Yes. The ATV61 and ATV71 drives can operate without the HMI (Human-Machine Interface) installed on the front of the drive, provided the drive is not configured to use the HMI for control functions.
The drive will continue to operate normally if start/stop commands and speed references are supplied from another configured control source (such as terminal inputs, network communication, or other external controls).
