How can I get 5% line impedance for the ATV630 Process Drives?

The drive has an internal DC choke with the equivalent of 3% impedance.  To increase the line side impedance, a line reactor with an impedance up to 3% can be added.  With a 3% line reactor, the equivalent line impedance will be 5%.  If a line reactor greater than 3% is used, we may create a brownout condition where the drive can not obtain the needed power from the line due to excess impedance.

Schneider Electric does not offer Line reactors for the Altivar Process Drives.  Please contact a manufacturer, such as MTE Corp, for selection.
