Issue:
How do you install the long terminal shield (LV426912) on the PowerPacT B-frame breakers?
Product Line:
Molded Case Circuit Breakers
Resolution:
NOTE: The Everlink lug option will not work with the long terminal shield.
Remove the green connection system cover (put a screwdriver or similar flat tool into slot in the connecter and push out). Slide the back of the cover into the breaker by sliding the tabs of the cover into the grooves on the breaker. You might need to cut the conductor holder tabs to length in order to allow adequate space for the conductors. Then, you would pull your conductors into the breaker. After doing so, you would slide the notches on the clear plastic part into the grooves on the front of the breaker. You might need to stretch out the sides of the clear plastic piece in order for it to fit around the breaker. Once it is in place, slide the green tabs on the clear piece down to lock the cover into place, and then screw it in with the provided screws.
