Video: Installing PKSB1HOMBF service barrier in low amp Homeline load centers
Issue:
How does the PKSB1HOMBF Service Barrier install into the low Amperage, Homeline Fixed Main Lug (HOM612L and HOM48L) load centers?

Resolution:
The PKSB1HOMBF Service Barrier is used ONLY with the Homeline load centers, Series 00_, (HOM612L and HOM48L) Fixed Main Lug load centers when a branch breaker is used as a Back-Fed Main Breaker.
The Kit will contain (1) Service Barrier,(1) mounting #10-32 x0.31in. hex head screw, (1) Hold down bracket and (1) #10-16 x 037in. pan head screw
The attached video is ONLY to supplement the INSTRUCTIONS that come with the kit. PLEASE make sure to read the instructions and all the below Safety Information that is located in the instructions BEFORE working on any electrical equipment.

Make sure to turn OFF ALL Power supplying the equipment and verify the power is OFF using a properly rated voltage sensing device, BEFORE working on or with electrical equipment.
1) Once all Safety steps are followed, begin the kit installation by following the instructions.
2) Install the appropriate 2-pole, Homeline back-fed main breaker and DO NOT exceed the maximum amperage as marked on the load center wiring diagram.
3) Insert the service barrier(NVE35882) tabs into the back-fed main breaker slots as shown in FIGURE 1 of the instructions.
4) Insert the mounting screw through the service entrance barrier and into the extruded hole in the enclosure. Torque the screw to 25-45 lb-In(2.8-5.0 N-m). SEE FIGURE 1 of the instructions.
5) Place the hold-down bracket(4055806501) onto the back-fed main circuit breaker, and install the screw into the plastic base. Torque to 25 lb-in (2.8 N-m).
NOTE: The service barrier does not allow the load center to be serviced while energized. ALWAYS turn OFF all power to the load center before working on the load center.

NOTE: PLEASE MAKE SURE TO FOLLOW ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT COME WITH THE KIT AND NEVER WORK ON ENERGIZED EQUIPMENT.
