Removing Knock-Outs from QO™ & Homeline Load Centers

Resolution:
All QO and Homeline load center enclosures have knockouts that must be removed to enter and exit the load center with the main wiring and branch load wiring.
Preparation to remove knockouts:
1) Determine the wiring or conduit requirements for the main and branch circuits, as required by local electrical codes.
2) Select the proper cable clamp or use other approved methods for securing the cable or conduit to the enclosure.
3) Remove the appropriate knockouts required for installation of cable clamps or conduit See Table 1 and Figure 1, on page one of the instructions that come with ALL load centers.
The attached video is ONLY to supplement the INSTRUCTIONS that come with the load centers. PLEASE make sure to read the instructions and all the below Safety Information that is located in the instructions BEFORE working on any electrical equipment.

Make sure to turn OFF ALL power supplying the equipment and verify the power is OFF using a properly rated voltage sensing device, BEFORE working on or with electrical equipment.
1) Once all safety steps are followed, begin the knockout removal following the instructions.
