ATS46 Soft starter is showing all 8 8 8's on the display and the soft starter will not run.

ATS46 is showing all 888 on the display and the soft starter will not run.

Cause:
Main control board appears to be inoperative.
Resolution:
1: Try power cycling the soft starter by removing the control voltage.
If the error does not clear.
2: Check the control voltage up to 500Vac on the control terminals.
3: Remove power next and remove the main control board screws and check the ribbon cables under the Main control board.
4: If you find that the main control board is inoperative then you may need to replace the complete soft starter since the main control board part is no longer available and is obsolete.
