Video: How Do You Change the Control Terminal Type from Sink to Source or from Source to Sink on an ATV61 or ATV71 Drive?

Resolution:

The control terminal type on an ATV61 or ATV71 drive can be changed by adjusting the SW1 DIP switch located on the control terminal card.

Procedure

  1. Open the cover on the drive's front control panel to access the control terminals.
  2. Loosen the locking screw until the spring is fully extended.
  3. Slide the control terminal card downward and remove it from the drive.
  4. Locate the SW1 DIP switch on the card.
  5. Move the DIP switch to the desired position:
    • Source mode
    • Sink mode
  6. Reinstall the control terminal card by sliding it back into place.
  7. Tighten the locking screw to secure the card.
  8. Close the control panel cover.

Important Note

Always verify that the SW1 switch position matches the intended control wiring method (source or sink) before returning the drive to service.
