All of our trim fronts are slightly wider than the enclosure. It's designed to slightly overhang on each side. For the HCM NEMA 1 enclosures, the width dimension is 32.00 + 0.020 - 0.000 on the INSIDE. If we take into account the steel thickness, 0.080 + 0.010 - 0.000, you end up with 32.02 + 0.090 + 0.090 = 32.200" wide by Design. The trim front is designed at 32.240", so only 0.040" overhang, or 0.020" on each side if evenly distributed.
