How do I program an ATV61 or ATV71 drive to use a 0–10 VDC speed reference on AI1?

Resolution:

To configure an ATV61 or ATV71 drive to follow an external 0–10 VDC speed reference on Analog Input AI1, follow these steps from the keypad:

Access the Main Menu
Press the ESC or Menu key to enter the main menu.

Open the Drive Menu

  • Navigate to and select Drive Menu (DRC).

Configure the command reference

  • Enter the Command Menu (CtL)
  • Set Reference 1 channel (Fr1) to AI1

Enable reference switching

  • Go to the Application Function Menu (Fun)
  • Enter Reference Switching (rEF-)
  • Set Reference 1B switching (rEF1b) to Channel 1 Active
