How Do I Display kW (Kilowatts) on the ATS48 Soft Starter SUP Menu?

Resolution:

The ATS48 does not directly measure the power supply voltage. Instead, it calculates power using the measured motor current and the voltage value entered by the user.

To enable accurate kW calculations:

  • Navigate to the drC menu.
  • Set the ULn parameter to the average actual supply voltage of the system.
  • Save the setting and return to the SUP menu
  • View the calculated active power value using the LAP parameter.
Note:
The accuracy of the displayed kW value depends on how closely the ULn setting matches the actual supply voltage. If the entered voltage differs significantly from the measured voltage, the displayed power value may be inaccurate.
