All the Optimum range of Phaseo power supplies have protection devices to ensure optimum performance of the automation system with an automatic reset mode on elimination of the fault.
In the event of an overload or short-circuit, the integrated protection interrupts the current supply before the output voltage drops below 19 Vdc. The protection device resets itself automatically on elimination of the fault, which avoids having to take any action or change a fuse.

Against short-circuits, protection technology: automatic reset
