Product Line
CM4000

Environment
Front Display

Cause
Each alarm also has a priority level. Use the priorities to distinguish between events that require immediate action and those that do not require action.
High priority—if a high priority alarm occurs, the display informs you in two ways: the LED on the display flashes until you acknowledge the alarm and a message displays while the alarm is active.
Medium priority—if a medium priority alarm occurs, the LED flashes and a message displays only while the alarm is active. Once the alarm becomes inactive, the LED stops flashing.
Low priority—if a low priority alarm occurs, the LED on the display flashes only while the alarm is active. No alarm message is displayed.
No priority—if an alarm is setup with no priority, no visible representation will appear on the display. Alarms with no priority are not entered in the Alarm Log. See Logging for alarm logging information. [Page 85]

Resolution
The LED will flash while the alarm is active. Once the alarm has been cleared, then the LED will cease flashing.

Only high priority alarms need to be acknowledged. If this alarm is a nuisance it can alternatively be set to no priority.

To acknowledge high priority alarms from the front display:
1. Navigate to Main Menu
2. --> View Alarms
3. --> Active Alarms List

If there is an active, unacknowledged high priority alarm, the CM4000 will ask you to acknowledge the alarm. Otherwise, the LED will flash for all active alarms with a priority.

To set alarm priority from the front display:
1. Navigate to Main Menu
2. --> Setup
3. Enter Password ****
**Note: arrow up and select 0 (for default password)
4. Press Enter.
5. Arrow down to --> Alarm
6. --> Edit Parameters
7. --> Disturbance
8. Arrow down to edit Priority
Select the desired priority level
9. Press the button that looks like 3 sheets of paper until you see:
