How to install the MPRPAF fixed padlock attachment for OFF position onto an R frame circuit breaker.

Resolution:
The MPRPAF is a fixed padlock attachment which allows a PowerPacT R Frame circuit breaker to be padlocked in the OFF position. To install, watch the below video, or follow these steps.
  • Turn off all power supplying this equipment before working on or inside equipment.
  • Reference the picture below (typical shown for M, P and R circuit breakers).
  • Insert mounting screws provided through padlock attachment and into holes on circuit breaker accessory cover. 11 lb-in (1.2 N•m)
  • Move circuit breaker handle to OFF (O) position.
  • Move hinged portion of padlock attachment so tab prevents circuit breaker handle from moving.
  • Insert up to three padlocks shackle sizes: 3/16-5/16 in. (5-8 mm).
