Cause
How to perform resets that allows you to clear all data of a particular type (Global Reset) or to clear data only in a specific register (Single Reset) on the PM5000 series meter via the front panel.

Resolution
How to perform a global reset using the display:
  1. Navigate to Maint > Reset.
  2. Move the cursor to point to Global Reset, then press Select
  3. Move the cursor to point to the parameter you want to reset, then press Rest.
  4. Enter the reset password (default is 0), then press OK.
  5. Press Yes to confirm the reset or No to cancel and return to the previous screen.
Note: Global resets allow you to clear all data of a particular type.

How to perform a single reset using the display:
  1. Navigate to Maint > Reset.
  2. Move the cursor to point to Single Reset, then press Select.
  3. Move the cursor to point to the parameter you want to reset, then press Reset. If there are additional options for the parameter, press Select, move the cursor to point to the option you want, then press Reset.
  4. Enter the reset password (default is 0), then press OK.
  5. Press Yes to confirm the reset or No to cancel and return to the previous screen.
Note 1: Single resets allow you to clear data only in a specific register or register type.

Note 2: Accumulated Energy Value will automatically reset at: 9,223,372,036,854,775,807 Wh
And  there is no register to store the old energy value after it gets reset.
