Why does Unity/ Control Expert 'Transfer Project from PLC' not complete a transfer from my CPU?

Issue
What are possible solutions for a Unity CPU that will not complete a 'Transfer Project from PLC' without a specific error?

Control Expert, Unity Pro, Quantum, M580, M340, Momentum, Premium

Resolution
  1. Upload info must be valid. (This will normally return an error)
  2. Make sure antivirus / firewall is turned off.
  3. Make sure the Unity shortcut tab 'Security' permissions are set to 'Allow'. (right click on shortcut and select 'properties')
  4. Make sure the Unity shortcut 'Shortcut' tab 'Advanced' button has 'Run as administrator' checked.
  5. Try a different install of Unity Pro to make sure the install is not missing anything.
  6. Use the automatically created STA to get to equal stage and try a build change.
  7. Try a power cycle to the CPU.
  8. If none of the above works, will need to Transfer Project to PLC to fix the issue.
