What can cause an ENF [Encoder] Fault on an ATV340 series drive and how do I correct it?
An encoder fault on the ATV340 series drive can have multiple causes Ranging from a configuration or wiring issue to a bad encoder. Please follow the following steps to verify the drive is configured properly:
Verify the configuration parameters for the encoder used.
Verify the mechanical and electrical operation of the encoder.
Check the consistency between the encoder signals and the direction of rotation of the motor.
If necessary, reverse the direction of rotation of the motor ([Output Ph rotation] PHr parameter)
