Concerns with wiring compartment size
Resolution:
In many higher current applications for Buck & Boost Transformers, there is inadequate space in the wiring compartment to make the line and load connections. In such cases, junction boxes or wiring troughs must be used externally to the transformer(s) to make proper connections. Transformers larger than 3kVA exaggerate this issue and SquareD/Schneider Electric considers them to be practical application problems for customers. SquareD/Schneider Electric can offer factory wired Autotransformers with adequate wiring compartment space for any application beyond the capability of our Buck & Boost Transformer line.
