The bendable type is two pieces of flat steel, overlapping and secured in position by a screw. That screw can be loosened to allow the two pieces of the lever arm to forn an angle with each other. Tightening the screw then secures the lever in an angled position (i.e. dog-leg). The non bendable is either stamped steel or a casting which is fixed in position at manufacture and cannot be adjusted in the field.
