Do arc fault breakers meet Class A ground fault requirements?

Resolution:
Arc fault breakers (AFI, CAFI, AF) do not meet Class A UL489. This refers to the 6 mA ground fault requirement.
If Class A ground fault protection is required in addition to arc fault protection, use a DF or AFGF breaker.
