What is a ``R02`` suffix on a 9070 Type TF Industrial Control Transformer?
Issue:
Fusing of Industrial Control Transformers

Product Line:
LV Transformers

Environment:
Applies to Industrial Control Transformers by SquareD/Schneider Electric

Cause:
Various schemes are used to protect the primary and secondary of Industrial Control Transformers

Resolution:
The ``R02`` suffix is a factory installed fuse block with two two fuses for the primary of the Transformer.

For additional information, see the Industrial Control Transformer catalog, document # 9070CT9901.  This is often used when an Transformer is ordered with a 120 volt winding with a tap for 24 volts.  Since both hot legs must be fused (one fuse for the 120 volt output and another for the 24 volt output) and Schneider Electric does not have an option for a 4 pole fuse block (2 primary and 2 secondary fuses,) Schneider Electric will provide only the primary fuse block.  The secondary fuse block(s) must then be provided by the installer.
