Power Operation: How to link the Dashboard page from Runtime Menu to open in a desired template

Issue
Dashboard page from Runtime Menu opens in the default PLS_Include template

Cause
To add a menu item to launch a specific dashboard it is instructed to use PLS_ShowDashboardDsp function. For more information please see Power Operation System Guide: Add the dashboard Page menu item
The PLS_ShowDashboardDsp function calls the PLS_WebDsp function to push the URL to view. The PLS_WebDsp function calls the "PLSWebPage" template page to load. The PLSWebPage is a default template that is located within the PLS_Include project.

Resolution
There are different methods to resolve this issue. The best way is to duplicate PLS_ShowDashboardDsp and PLS_WebDsp functions with new names. The input to PLSPageDisplay function within the new PLS_WebDsp function should change from PLSWebPage to the desired template name created in the Graphics Builder. Please make sure to don’t change any other functions within the copied functions. The new functions should be saved on a new Cicode file.

Note: The changes can be made directly on PLS_Include Cicode files and templates but please note in any software update the PLS_Include project will be updated and all changes will be removed.
