It is possible to reset the Geo SCADA super-user account in case its password is lost. The user must have Windows Administrative rights to that computer.
The procedure is the following:

- Shutdown the Geo SCADA Server, wait until it is down, with the Server icon in gray color
- Go to Windows Control Panel and select the “Programs and Features” option:
- Under “Uninstall or change a program”, click on “Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Geo SCADA Expert 2020” (or the version you have installed) and select the “Change” option:
- This will bring the Geo SCADA installation splash screen. Click on “Next”:
- Click on “Modify”:
- Check the “Change Super-User Account” check-box (don’t change anything else) and click on “Next”:
- Enter the super-user "User Name" and password, then click on “Next”:
- Click on “Install”:
- Click on “Finish”:
- Now you can start Geo SCADA Server. The new account will be available for use. Note that the super-user account must be used carefully and should not be of public knowledge. Best practice is to disable it when an application has proper security settings in place.
