How can you read the serial number of ATV630 and ATV930 drives via Modbus or Ethernet?

You can retrieve the drive’s serial number through Modbus or Ethernet communication by reading specific parameters and converting their values.

Steps:

1. Read parameters C1P1 to C1PA (logical addresses 3410 to 3419).
2. Each parameter returns a HEX value (2 bytes per word).
3. Convert each HEX value to ASCII.
4. Combine the ASCII values in order to reconstruct the full serial number.

Example:

Serial number: 4002200HL444562001

C1P1 (3410) = 0x3430 → 40
C1P2 (3411) = 0x3032 → 02
C1P3 (3412) = 0x3230 → 20
C1P4 (3413) = 0x3048 → 0H
C1P5 (3414) = 0x4C34 → L4
C1P6 (3415) = 0x3434 → 44
C1P7 (3416) = 0x3536 → 56
C1P8 (3417) = 0x3230 → 20
C1P9 (3418) = 0x3031 → 01
C1PA (3419) = 0x0000 → --

Result:

Combine all ASCII outputs to obtain the full serial number.
