Understand the concept of braiding wires of an HEPD when connecting to a circuit breaker.

Product Line:
Whole House HEPD Surge Device

Environment:
Surge Device - Residential

Cause:
Wiring HEPD unit into a circuit breaker.

Resolution:
Braiding wires together (as shown on the figure attached) reduces the resistance (impedance) of the current from the actual panel to the surge protector. Performance of the surge device is best if there is least amount of resistance (impedance) between the SPD and the connection of the panel.
