Does the date code of the PowerPacT P or R matter if the trip unit will be replaced?

Resolution:

Yes. Newly released trip units will not work on circuit breakers with date code 09011 (manufactured in the 1st week of 2009) or earlier. There are two options as a workaround:

·        Find a trip unit with date code 09011 or earlier

·        Replace the circuit breaker.
