Where can you find the date code on PowerPacT and MasterPact breakers?

Issue:
Where is the format of the date code and where is it located on PowerPacT molded case breakers and MasterPact insulated case circuit breakers?

Product line:
Molded case and power circuit breakers

Resolution:
The date code will be in a 5 or 6 digit format.
  • The first two numbers indicate the year
  • The second two numbers indicate the week of that year
  • The 5th digit indicates the day of the week
  • If there is a 6th digit, it indicates the shift
The date code will be located on the bottom right corner of the label on the face of the breaker. For the PowerPacT B frame, the date code is just above the green terminal shield on the Off end of the breaker and it is sideways with the 1st 2 numbers being the plant code.
