PME - "Problems occurred saving the following item(s)" error when saving a template in Event Watcher

Issue
When saving a template in Event Watcher, the following error shows:

• "An error occurred while saving Event Watcher data."
• "Problems occurred saving the following item(s):"

Cause
This will occur when entering a Template Condition with % in the Cause Value field or other special characters that Event Watcher doesn't support.

Resolution
Use the 'Select from Event Log' and/or edit the filters to exclude any special characters that may be triggering this error. If adding logic to the Event Watcher Template, try utilizing the following tips:

• For logic operators, the asterisk * is a wildcard for any text. For example, if *tripped* is entered into the Effect Value field, events that include any additional text before or after the word "tripped" in the Effect Value will trigger that event watcher.
• The conditions within a row of the Template Conditions table must all be true for the condition to be met. For example, if you have a row with a Priority of greater than 220 and an Effect Value of Disturbance, both of these must be met for the condition to be true.
• If you have multiple rows in the Template Conditions table, the condition is met if any of the rows are true.
