Can an EBOOL variable in an M580 Hot Standby be forced using Control Expert?

Yes, but only if the 'Exchange On Standby' attribute is enabled. In an M580 Hot Standby configuration, when it comes to the EBOOLs, disabling this attribute will also disable the ability to force. This is due to the nature of the EBOOL state table, it is structured in a way that having a variable forced in the Primary but not the Standby would cause sync issues in the event of a switchover.
