Why is it more difficult to push in the contact carrier on the new TeSys DC-controlled contactors than it was in the old design?
Issue:
New TeSys D-Line DC coil contactors are harder to manually operate.

Resolution:
These contactors are now manufactured with a permanent magnet inside the contactor. This design offers more resistance when manually pushing down on the contact carrier.
