What does "1/2 Class System VA" represent in "Transformer / Line Loss Calculations" document for ION Meters
Issue
Want to determine Percent-loss constant calculations for Transformer / Line Loss Calculations but do not understand the meaning of 1/2 class system VA.

Product
ION7550/ION7650, ION8600, ION8800, ION8650, PM8000, ION7400, ION9000

Cause
The documentation does not describe what 1/2 Class System VA represents.

Resolution
1/2 class system VA refers to the VA's at half of the current class of the meter  (for class 20 it is @ 10 amps and for class 2 it is @ 1 amp)

For more information on the line loss calculation in ION meters, please refer to document 7EN72-0208
