How do you setup a 4-20ma reference on a ATV340 drive?

Issue:
Needs to connect a 4-20ma speed reference to a ATV340 drive

Product Line:
ATV340

Environment:
All

Cause:
Needs 4-20ma analog input

Resolution:
The 4-20ma speed reference must be connected to AI1 and COM. Using the VW3A1111 keypad, this has to be setup in the drive as follows:

in Complete settings, go to Input/output menu.

Press the button under the AI/AQ tab at the bottom of the screen

Go to AI1 configuration and set AI1 type to current.

Then change AI1 min value to 4.0ma.

Factory default has Ref freq 1 config set for AI1 so that will not need to be changed. Now the drive is setup for 4-20ma speed reference.
