Environment:
Vista

Cause:

The Vista software is used to create and modify diagrams. One of the objects that can be added to this diagram is called a Numeric Object which can be used to display values from the connected devices in real time. When created, the numeric object will display as an Alphanumeric Display by default, showing both the device/source name and the corresponding value that is selected. More information on how to customize the diagram objects can be found here: Customizing a diagram object.

The numeric object has different Display Styles found in the Display section of the Configuration. Linked is a more in-depth explanation of what each can be used for: Customizing the display of a numeric object.

Resolution:

There will be cases where the numeric range goes outside of the default range of 0-200 for the Display Options. Example screenshot below where the Voltage L-L average value is 24,230V but the number is out of the range of the default 0-200 graph parameters (black bar in the horizontal graph).

voltage graph out of range

To change this range, go into the Numeric Object Configuration > Display and change the Display Style to Partial Dial Display.

numeric object configuration

Right click on the dial on the right to bring up the options. From here the range can be changed from the default range of 0-200. Also, other parameters like the Ticks can be changed. Make the necessary changes from the default and press "Ok."

Once the changes have been made, change the Display Style to the one of your choosing (in this example the Horizontal Display). The graph should be scaled properly to your liking like below.
