Yes, Smart Cell CAN be used in QED2 construction as an after shipment product, however Schneider Electric assembly plants will not utilize Smart Cell in QED2 Construction, since the new QED2 Series 2 I-Line interior sections include a small instrument compartment running across the top, which is designed to provide similar functionality for mounting “Smart” components without taking up I-Line mounting space.
