Resolution:
The ON handle position of a QO branch breaker will be all the way toward the wording ON that is on the face of the breaker, see below visual:
ON handle position
The OFF handle position of a QO branch breaker will be all the way toward the wording OFF that is on the face of the breaker, see below visual:
OFF handle position
The TRIPPED handle position of a QO branch breaker will be approximately middle way of the breaker between the wording ON and OFF that is on the face of the breaker.
Also, the QO branch breakers have Visi-Trip™ indication, so a red flag will appear in the window on the face of the breaker when tripped. See below visual:
Tripped handle position
NOTE: To reset a QO branch breaker that has tripped, push the handle ALL the way to the OFF position (see step 1 below), then all the way back to the ON position (see step 2 below).
Below is a visual for resetting a tripped Homeline branch breaker and this visual is also on the directory label of the cover, which is located on the back of the front cover door of the load centers.
