QO 3-phase load centers
Resolution:
TOP FEEDING:
ALL of the QO, 3 phase, NEMA 1 load centers come with the main breaker or main lugs located at the top of the load center interior and can be top fed.
BOTTOM FEEDING:
The two small, fixed main lug, QO, 3 phase load centers, catalog number QO403L60N(F or S), CANNOT be rotated for bottom feeding. To bottom feed these two, the incoming wires can enter through the bottom endwall and either go directly into the main lugs, depending on the load center interior layout OR the wires can be fed up past the interior through the gutter area and looped around into the main lugs.
ALL of the remaining fixed main lug, QO, 3 phase, NEMA 1 load centers can be bottom fed by rotating the complete load center and cover. This will NOT cause the labeling to be "upside down", it will just start the circuit counting at the bottom of the cover where the main lugs are located, but it will read appropriately.
ALL of the convertible main breaker, QO, 3 phase, NEMA 1 load centers can bottom fed if the load center and cover are rotated 180 degrees, THEN the main breaker MUST be removed and rotated 180 degrees, so the 'ON' position of the breaker is in the top location.
