Using DSP402 mode how can you command the VFD to run in reverse from communications?

How to run the VFD in reverse from Modbus or CanOpen?

Product line:
ATV312, ATV71, ATV61, ATV32, ATV31

Environment:
All models, all serial numbers

Cause:
How to run the VFD in reverse from Modbus or CanOpen when using the standard DSP402 Drive comm. profile?.

Resolution:
The command word is 8501 or 8601. Bit 11 of the command word is for the motor direction.
Bit 11 = 0 Motor direction is forward
Bit 11 = 1 Motor direction is reverse
