The encrypted fingerprint database is stored in Runtime and in the switch itself. When you configure fingerprints in your VJD application then download to the HMI, the fingerprint database is downloaded along with the project. At Runtime (on the HMI), when you connect the Biometric switch, the Runtime engine automatically downloads the fingerprint database to the device. When you add fingerprints in Runtime, the fingerprint data is stored in both Runtime and in the switch.
