What kind of flash is needed to activate Arc protection in Vamp arc devices?
System camera external flash.
For example Nissin Digital DI622 mark II, and Canon Speedlite 430EX II has been confirmed in field tests to be suitable for Arc testing purposes.
Flashlight / Torch (such as Maglite etc. ) typically is able to provide sufficient light for testing purposes.
Especially when testing time delayed functions (e.g. CBFP) where long light activation is demanded flashlight becomes compulsory.
LED as an light source for Arc testing purposes typically is not suitable.
Compact camera or mobile phone camera flash typically can't provide powerful enough light and period of light is also too short.
