Connection issues with ComX for Facility Insights
Issue:
The ComX cannot connect to the remote platform

Resolution:
  • If connected via the Ethernet port, confirm there is no proxy presently configured. If a proxy is configured, consult your network administrator.
  • When connected via Ethernet, it is possible your DNS servers are incompatible with the Schneider Electric server. Temporarily try using the Google DNS server, 8.8.8.8. Contact Schneider Electric technical support if the issue persists.
  • Proceed with a ComX test.
  • Save your configuration if needed, then proceed with a factory reset. Load the config file again and attempt to connect to the remote platform.
  • Confirm that ComX has been properly registered in Facility Insights.
