Issue:
When attempting to activate a Power Monitoring Expert license using the Floating License Manager, there is an error thrown indicating "Request includes activation IDs for a parent license and an update license that cannot be processed together in a single request"

Cause:
This is a screen capture of the error that will be seen:



This is because the Activation IDs included in the license request contain an activation ID for the PME base license as well as for a Segment Edition (Buildings, Data Center, and HealthCare) Cross Grade license.

Resolution:
This is an example of two activation IDs that will be included in the Entitlement Certificate that can cause this error:

Activation ID: A-LN26-####-####
Description: PME-STD Base

Activation ID: A-4B8L-####-####
Description: DC Base Cross Grade

When trying to license a Segment Edition, we only require the Segment ID. In order to resolve this error, license the activation IDs again without including the PME-STD Base activation ID.
