Customer has the credit on the application specially made for one process using M340 PLC. So he is looking for the way to associate the hardware info(for ins. mac address) with his unity program to achieve the application protection.

How to associate the hardware info of M340 with software to achieve the application protection.
Answer:
Instead of mac address, M340 offers %SW146 and %SW147 to acquire the unique SD card serial number(32bits) tp be used to protect an application against duplication.
Note: The system words %SW146 and %SW147 are available since SV 2.1 of the CPU OS.
