What is the difference between M580 weighing module DTMs: Device DTM and Generic DTM?

Resolution

There are 2 different version of the Schneider Electric PME DTMs. They are found in the readme of the PME DTM library folder

1. the PMESWT0100 DTM or Device DTM found in the PME Library. This library is available inside Unity pro software or downloadable via the SCAIME website. The Schneider Electric PME DTM requires the following software installed on the PC:

-> Microsoft .NET Framework V3.5 SP1 or higher
-> UnityPro V8 or higher / FDT Frame Application compliant to the FDT standard 1.2.1.
-> PSx DTM Library V2.3.0 or higher
Refer to the readme found inside the folder. Install the Device DTM by clicking on the .msi pointed by the arrow and follow the instructions.



2. the PME Generic DTM found inside the PME library
Install the Generic DTM by clicking on the .msi pointed by the arrow and follow the instructions.
