Issue:
Customer needs to add an extension rack to an M340 installation using BMXXBE1000 modules. The distance between racks is around 15metres.
He wants to know if he can join two expansion cables together (e.g. BMXXBC120K & BMXXBC030K) with a standard DB9 joiner (female-female)?

Yes, this should work, as long as the cumulative length of all the cables used in a PLC station is less than or equal to 30 m.
