PME/PSE 8.x: Starting the Floating License Manager in 'Expert' mode

Starting the floating license manager in expert mode.

Floating License Manager

Cause
Modify and/or delete corrupted PME/PSE licenses.

Resolution
1. Create a shortcut of the 'FloatingLicenseManager.exe' file found at the following default directory:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Schneider Electric\Power Monitoring Expert\Floating License Manager

2. Right-click on the 'Floating License Manager' shortcut file and select 'Properties'.
Add 'expert' after the following entry in the Target parameter: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Schneider Electric\Power Monitoring Expert\Floating License Manager\FloatingLicenseManager.exe"
E.g. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Schneider Electric\Power Monitoring Expert\Floating License Manager\FloatingLicenseManager.exe" expert



3. Click 'OK' in the properties window to apply and save the changes.

Note: PME 2021 and later use the License Configuration Tool
